Biography
Qijun ZHAO
Zhao Qijun is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). He also serves as the Dean of the Helicopter Research Institute, Executive Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory of Helicopter Aeromechanics, and Chairman of the Helicopter Branch of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics.His main research fields include helicopter Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), aerodynamics, helicopter aeroacoustics, active flow control, high-performance rotor aerodynamic design, aircraft stealth design, and new-configuration/new-concept rotorcraft. He has successively presided over more than 20 national-level projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He acts as an editorial board member for several academic journals and has won 6 provincial/ministerial-level Progress Awards. He has published over 350 papers in well-known domestic and international journals (such as Journal of the American Helicopter Society, AIAA Journal, Journal of Computational Physics, Physics of Fluids, Aerospace Science and Technology, and Acta Aeronautica et Astronautica Sinica) and academic conferences, among which more than 250 have been indexed by SCI and EI. Additionally, he has published 5 monographs and holds more than 60 authorized invention patents.
